Heads We Win . . . Tails You Lose, but friends, we’re all winners with this beasty beast spinning on the player. If you like good ole blues-based rock n’ roll with a truckload of attitude, Sonic Rebellion is the band that you’ll want to discover. I can’t say that there’s a band song on this album and it will unleash that bad boy inside. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself staying out later than normal, washing a little less, drinking, cussing, fighting more. The music has balls. Hell, it is balls! This is the kind of 70’s rock that should have been released back in the day, and would have sat comfortably next to the era’s greats . . . on pure attitude alone. Outstanding musicianship makes this album interesting in that it doesn’t sound like your standard retro blues rock, it doesn’t sound dated. New York based four piece Sonic Rebellion have released an immensely powerful album, which although it as tough as nails, still manages to come across very melodic and groove driven. Influentially, the band no doubt have a vast and varied record collection to call upon, as an endless list of influences to call upon, as an endless list of influences are all sampled thoughout the twelve track on offer. And whilst these tunes may have a diverse underbelly, they are all executed with a toughness that gives the album a real gritty, in your face consistency.  "Awake Now" is an unusual opener that finds the band in a heavily funky mood thanks to an infectious 70s style groove. But don't get too comfy with this resonance because up next we have the monolithic tone of "Song About Revenge" with its early Black Sabbath backbone. The band continue to vary their styles throughout and during "Mad as Hell" and "Find My Way" Southern Rock flavors also seep into proceedings, whilst a punk like attitude is apparent during "Make it to Midnight" and "No End in Sight." Add touches of Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Black Label Society, Buckcherry and even Aerosmith to events and although this music isn't for the faint hearted, there is defnitely something here for most hard rock fans to enjoy. - POWERPLAY MAGAZINE (UK)

Sonic Rebellion – Heads We Win…Tails You Lose: One hell of a great 4-piece hard rock band from New York City that incorporate varied styles of bands throughout the album – some of them being their influences as well.
